The folks at Pampered Paws come from a variety of backgrounds. Many of our Pet Sitters are retired professionals, moms with children at home and hardworking people all who love pets and enjoy the flexibility of working part time for added income. Many of our Pet Sitters are clients who decided to join our professional team. Some have found us through Veterinarians, clients and neighbors who have referred them to us. They stay close by, pet sitting in each of their own neighborhoods. Our Sitters live from one end of Mecklenburg County to the other and neighboring counties.
The company was an answer to prayer and a dream come to fruition by Barbara Foster. She has been pet sitting since November 2006. Barbara has a Bachelor's Degree in Management and Merchandising from the University of South Carolina. After working in Retail Management in the furniture industry for many years, Barbara stopped working for about 5 years to have more time to devote to raising her teenage daughter. After she headed to college, she was walking her Yorkie, Cricket, when a neighbor stopped to chat. She told her about a company needing pet sitters. After some thought, she started pet sitting part time. Within 4 months was pet sitting full time. Pampered Paws began in November 2011 with one client. We continue to grow daily due to the quality of care and professionalism we demonstrate to our clients and their pet family.
